The Area Information Records System (AIRS) is an automated information system managed by and serving a consortium of local public safety and justice agencies. The primary partners in the AIRS Consortium are Lane County and the Cities of Eugene and Springfield. Small city law enforcement and court agencies such as those in Florence, Junction City, and Coburg also have access to AIRS.
The AIRS Consortium runs a highly integrated, heavily used, shared system that has major subsystems for Law Enforcement Records, Computer Aided-Dispatch, Adult Corrections and local Courts. It also includes interfaces to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and to state and national law enforcement systems.
